This city still disconcerts me. But there is beauty in all things and hidden beauty is especially pleasing to the senses when found. I may not ever truly love the grey, blue and liberal black streaks of uniformity, but I can respect it and enjoy the ocassional splashes of deep purple and green. This is a Very Odd Place. People are wearing far too many clothes, walking far too fast on sandals with strange soles and the weather is far too bleak.
